ABOUT - Tips for Photographing Your Pet.

Lighting:

Try to photograph your pet using daylight as the flash will give a "red eye" in which case I will not be able to see the color of the eyes. Keep the light to your back and try to use the morning or late afternoon light.

Composition:

A close up photo is better, the more detail I can see the better likeness I can reproduce.

Focus:

A sharp crisp focus is ideal, especially the eyes as they often capture your pets personality.

Time:

Choose your moment, try to take photos of your pet when they are relaxed, after they have been fed or walked is often a good time, not straight after work when they are over excited to see you.

Attention:

You can attract their attention with a tasty treat, favorite toy or by clicking your fingers.

Fun:

Keep your photography sessions casual and relaxed, if your pet won't co-operate, try again a little later or the next day.
